Onika, known as Nicki Minaj, was born on December 8, 1982, in Trinidad and Tobago to Robert Maraj and Carol Maraj.



Nicki faced childhood challenges due to her father's addiction, experiencing her house set on fire in 1987 but miraculously, she and her brother were not there.
